Skype for Business Audio Troubleshooting


Having issues hearing people in a Skype for Business call?


Try checking your Audio Device to see if it is set to the correct output.


Steps:


1. Open Skype for Business application and click on the settings (looks like a gear as seen below) and select Tools -> Options.



2. In the Options menu click Audio Device and use the dropdown found next to Speaker to see if you have other devices. Try the other devices to see if you are able to hear the people in the call.



Still can't hear the other person?


Suggest them to check if their Microphone has been muted.


If the problems persist, contact IT by submitting an incident ticket through the Service Portal.
