Remote Desktop Connection

1. Open RDP

2. Type: Remote Desktop Connection

Login to Workstation

1. Type: kantech.ranchehrlo.ca & hit Connect

2. Enter your password for your login & hit OK

3. Accept RDP Certificate (press Yes)

Open Kantech

1. Double click on Workstation icon on desktop

2. Enter username and password for Kantech login. This is not your normal Windows login credentials.

* If you fail to login you must click the Green button in the top left where it states "<- Click here to login".

Creating Cards (User FOBs)

1. After logging in move to Users tab and click Card.

2. Press the New icon and enter the Card user name.

3. Find the FOB number on the FOB (0000:00000) or use the FOB device on a scanner to find the number in the Message List. Then enter it in the Card # area.

4. Navigate to the Access Level tab and choose what access that user is to receive to the location.

5. When completed press the Save icon.

Disable Cards (User Fobs)

1. Navigate to the Miscellaneous tab and you may set the Card state to Invalid. This will suspend the access to the card.

2. When completed press the Save icon.

Logoff

After completing your change logoff of the Workstation.

Click start menu, go to user icon, click “Sign out”
