Have you accidentally deleted a folder containing important messages in Outlook or Office 365? Luckily that folder is placed in a deleted items state and can be recovered.


For Microsoft Outlook


Step One: Locate the Delete Items folder


There will be a folder on the left marked as Deleted Items. If you expand this folder you will see the folder you deleted inside.



Step Two: Restore your folder


Right Click the folder you wish to recover and select Move Folder



Move the folder back to the root of the mailbox by selecting your e-mail address and then press OK.



For Office 365 Outlook


Step One: Locate the Delete Items folder


There will be a folder on the left marked as Deleted Items. If you expand this folder you will see the folder you deleted inside.

Right Click the folder you wish to recover and select Move



Move the folder back to the root of the mailbox by selecting Folders and then press Move.
