Are you receiving the BIOS Auto-Recovery "BIOS corruption has been detected and Auto-Recovery is triggered!" screen?


Follow these steps to repair your BIOS:


  1. Verify that the laptop is powered OFF (hold the power button for 10 seconds) and disconnect the power adapter (so that nothing is connected to the laptop).
  2. Press and hold the CTRL key and ESC key together on the keyboard and continue holding.
  3. Plug in the power adapter to the laptop.
  4. When you see the BIOS recovery screen, release the CTRL key and ESC key.
  5. Choose the option: Recover BIOS from last known version (option 1).
  6. Wait until BIOS has been recovered.
