Staff can utilize the leave without pay (LWOP) time-off code in Workforce to request a day off without pay.

 

The LWOP time-off code can also be utilized by managers of staff who are on a short-term leave of ~2 weeks to mark their staff's regular scheduled shifts as LWOP instead. 

 

For leaves longer than 2 weeks (ex. education leave, maternity leave) staff should have their shifts removed from the schedule entirely rather than adding LWOP book-offs for an extended period of time.
